Well, personally, Science has always been one of my best subjects, so I don't have personal experiance, but I suppose that one important thing is to keep trying, and to keep asking questions. Don't be afraid to ask if you don't understand something. If you do understand something, still ask questions out of curiosity, and you'll find out things that can help you a lot.
