How do you make your eye color lighter?

You can't make your pupils a lighter color because your pupil is just a hole in your Iris (the colored portion of your eye) it's not an actual piece of skin or material

Light enters the pupil by passing through the cornea, lens and other clear parts of the eye until it hits the back of your eye which is black-

This is called the tapetum negre and it is where all the light is absorbed.

Cats, Dogs and nocturnal animals have eyes that seem to glow at night- That is because these animals have tapetum that is blue/green/ silverish,

this tapetum reflects light off the back of their eyes and back out through the pupil which is why their eyes seem to glow.

but you can make your eye color appear lighter by:

1. Tanning and wearing light colored make up Ex- dark green eyes look brighter with darker skin and pale purple eyeshadow or colored eyeliners)

2. Wearing clothing with colors that complement or accent your eyes so they appear bigger, brighter and stand out more

(ex Baby blue clothes or eyeshadow with light sparkly powder placed on brow/cheek surrounding your eyes brings out brown eyes)

Looking at bright lights will make the pupils constrict (get smaller).
