Not really, but there is probably a way to keep people safe from a tsunami
To protect a country from a potential tsunami, it is essential to have early warning systems in place that can detect and monitor seismic activity in the ocean. Establishing evacuation plans and drills for coastal communities can also help minimize the impact of a tsunami. Additionally, investing in infrastructure that can withstand the impact of a tsunami, such as sturdy seawalls and tsunami-resistant buildings, is crucial in protecting the country from such natural disasters.
A Tsunami works bye the sea pushing it's self backwards and mysteriously crashes backwards as a huge wave and can cause damage to buildings unfortunately it can posssible suck you up and kill you however every Tsunami leaves a flood and a lot of damage
learn to swim. That is one way but the 2 safest places you can be are 1. on a mountain or 2. apparently under the tsunami (try at your own risk) i had some Friends who were scuba diving when a tsunami hit and they did not know it happened until they surfaced.
Tsunamis have been striking America but not of the magnitude of 2004 Asian Tsunami or 2011Japan Tsunami. But still there are no such instruments or devices which could predict a tsunami or an earthquake.
