WATER RECYCLING SYSTEM

Units equipped with a "Water Recycling System" are fitted with five (5) devices for reducing the solid particles present in the sucked material. The devices are located consecutively in the recycling system and are dimensioned and engineered in order to generate an amount of recycled water to guarantee continuous operation of the high pressure pump functioning at its highest performance.

Thanks to the separation and settling principles (not filtration), the stops of the high pressure line for cleaning operations are very few and the equipment performances are at their best. It is very important to highlight how much the cleaning operations affect the high pressure performance: the more they are, the less the equipment productivity (this happens with recycling systems with filters that undergo frequent cleaning).

The five devices for reducing the solid particles present in the sucked material are:

  1. PERFORATED FILTERING WALL IN DEBRIS TANK

The sucked material undergoes the first stage of filtration passing through a perforated steel wall. The perforations cover the area of the divided section of the tank. Particles larger than 20mm remain in the debris compartment of the tank.

  1. ROTATING FILTER INSIDE THE TANK

After passing through the perforated wall, the liquid material enters a rotating cylinder shaped filter that separates the liquid with particles no larger than 500 micron. The cylindrical filter is operated by a hydraulic motor and has a scraper fitted to the outside surface. The scraper provides automatic cleaning of the outside surface allowing free passage of the liquid material through the filter. The cylindrical filter is positioned HORIZONTALLY to minimise the amount of liquid left in the tank once operations are stopped. The remaining solid material settles in the debris compartment.

  1. FIRST STAGE CYCLONES for LARGE PARTICLES

A centrifugal pump sucks the liquid that passed through the rotating filter and transfers the liquid to the "first stage cyclone" that is designed to separate suspended particles between 250 and 500 micron in size. The extracted particles are returned to the debris compartment.

  1. SECOND STAGE CYCLONES for SMALL PARTICLES

After passing through the first cyclone, the liquid material is transferred to quantity two (2) second stage cyclones. The second stage cyclones separate suspended particles between 100 and 350 micron. The extracted particles are returned to the debris compartment.

  1. SETTLING TANK

The liquid cleaned by the equipment so far is then transferred into a settling tank. The settling tank is manufactured in AISI 304 stainless steel and is divided into five (5) watertight sections.

The transfer of water from one section to another is made possible through special devices that allow the free passage of liquid while blocking out both the heavy and light particles (fat, oil etc).

The large capacity of the tank ensures liquid moves slowly within the tank and stays in there for an extended period of time.

The wide area of the tank base and the slow moving liquid enables excellent settling of the last suspended particles.

Generally, after the settling process the particles still present in the resulting liquid are smaller than 50 micron and with concentration percentages less than 50mg/l, without greasy / oily parts.

Such values minimise the wear and tear of all the high pressure system components including pump, valves, pipes, nozzles, etc.

Thanks to the efficiency of CapRecy in terms of the recycled water, all the high pressure and recycling components undergo little tear and wear thus reducing sensibly the maintenance costs.

To clean the tank it is simply necessary to tip it up: a flush out system carries out a deep cleaning and clearing of any deposits.

CAP-RECY ADVANTAGES

- Cuts down on the clean water usage

- Recycles 90% of the sucked liquid and concentrates the solid material into the debris tank

- Reduces down time of the vehicle

- Guarantees excellent quality of the recycled water

- Safeguards the high pressure water system

- Separates fats / oils from the liquids

- Allows the automatic and thorough cleaning of all the filtering components

Is muddy water is a mixture or solution?

It is a mixture, since solutions are clear. In solutions, the solute is the substance that is dissolved and mud in water does not dissolve. Muddy water is not a solution, it is a mixture because u can separate mud from water.

What physical separation would allow to separate a mixture of muddy water?

It is possible to filter mud out of water.

What is muddy water an example of?

Muddy water is an example of a heterogeneous mixture, where different substances are unevenly distributed throughout the mixture. In this case, mud particles are suspended in water, giving it a cloudy or turbid appearance.

Is water a solution or a mixture?

It is a mixture, since solutions are clear. In solutions, the solute is the substance that is dissolved and mud in water does not dissolve. Muddy water is not a solution, it is a mixture because u can separate mud from water.

Is muddy water a homogeneous mixture?

No, muddy water is not considered a homogeneous mixture. It is a heterogeneous mixture because the soil particles are not evenly distributed throughout the water, resulting in a non-uniform composition.

Is muddy water a mixture a compound or an element?

Muddy river water is a mixture of different materials. The moving river keeps it muddy. If the water stops moving, the muddy material will precipitate and settle to the bottom.

Is muddy water homogeneous or heterogeneous?

Muddy water is a heterogeneous mixture because it consists of visibly different particles suspended in water. The particles can settle over time, showing that muddy water is not uniform in composition.

Is muddy water a pure substance or mixture?

It is a mixture, since solutions are clear. In solutions, the solute is the substance that is dissolved and mud in water does not dissolve. Muddy water is not a solution, it is a mixture because u can separate mud from water.

Is river water element or compound or mixture?

Muddy river water is a mixture of different materials. The moving river keeps it muddy. If the water stops moving, the muddy material will precipitate and settle to the bottom.

Muddy river water is a mixture of different materials. The moving river keeps it muddy. If the water stops moving, the muddy material will precipitate and settle to the bottom.

Is muddy water heterogeneous or homogeneous mixture?

Muddy water is a heterogeneous mixture because it consists of different components that are not evenly distributed throughout the mixture. The particles of soil and other debris in the water can be seen easily, indicating its non-uniform composition.
