Its the difference between DNA and RNA.

DNA = Deoxyribonucleic acid

RNA = Ribonucleic Acid.

Meaning they have different structures based on the different sugars.

And also the fact that DNA is double stranded (in the double helix form) and RNA is single stranded.

How much DNA do humans share with bacteria?

Humans share about 1-2 of their DNA with bacteria.

With what do humans share DNA?

Humans share DNA with other living organisms, such as animals, plants, and bacteria.

Can DNA fragments from human and bacteria be joined?

Yes, DNA fragments from humans and bacteria can be joined together using techniques such as molecular cloning. This process involves inserting a DNA fragment from one source into a vector, such as a plasmid, and then introducing the vector into a host organism to replicate the combined DNA.

What would Identify one way in which bacteria differ from humans?

Organisation. Bacteria have cellular level of organisation and humans have organ system level of organisation.

What DNA do elephants have?

Elephant DNA has a double helix structure like the DNA of humans. Elephants have 28 pairs of chromosomes whereas we humans have 23 pairs so we differ in this aspect.

Bacteria and humans are similar in that they both what?

Bacteria and humans are similar in that they both consist of cells, which are the basic units of life. Both organisms use DNA to store genetic information and have similar biochemical processes for metabolism and energy production. Additionally, they can respond to environmental stimuli and reproduce, although the mechanisms and complexity of these processes differ significantly.

What molecule carries the genetic information for bacteria- flies- mushroom and humans and everything living?

DNA - except i think its RNA in bacteria but I'm not entirely sure, so just say DNA

Why does binary fission in bacteria differ from mitosis?

Binary fission in bacteria differs from mitosis because there is nuclear membrane involved. It also has simple DNA strand which has no spindle fibers to be formed.

How does the DNA of yellow perch differ from human DNA?

The DNA of yellow perch does not differ from human DNA except in the sequences of the bases.

How does the DNA of humans and the DNA of animals compare?

They have the same nucleotides (A, T, C, G) and structure (double helix and chromosomes), and have a lot of the same genes, but a lot of genes differ, also.
