A change in the pH will affect the kinds of plants that will survive best in an area. The pH can change the ability of the root to take in soil nutrients.

So, only the plants that adapt to that particular pH will survive that location.

The temperature even complicates things further, if there is a permanent change in the temperature flora can change relatively quickly. Certain plant that could not survive before will move into the area.

With the change in flora comes a change in fauna. The insects and other herbivores that feed on the new plant types move into the area along with their predators. All this because of pH and temperature changes.

Compare abiotic factor and biotic factor?

Abiotic factors are non-living components of an ecosystem, such as temperature, sunlight, and soil. Biotic factors are living components, like plants, animals, and microorganisms, that affect an ecosystem. Both types of factors interact to create a balanced ecosystem.

How can the biotic factors in an ecosystem an affect the abiotic factors?

abiotic components affect biotic component by when something is accustom to a certain temperature and is moved to a different temperature it will die and animals that eats from that resources will stave.

How do decomposers affect biotic components of an ecosystem?

Because they eat dead animals

Three differences between biotic and abiotic components of an ecosystem?

in biology, abiotic components are non-living chemical and physical factors in the environment.and biotic means pertaining to life or living organisms,it it produced or caused by living beings.it refers to the living components in ecosystems.

What are examples of biotic?

Biotic is one of two components in an ecosystem. Biotic factors are living things in an ecosystem such as animals

What are biotic factors of fireflies?

Biotic factors are living components that directly affect an ecosystem. Some biotic factors of fireflies are snails and slugs which they feed on, and frogs and toads which prey on fireflies.

Describes a relationship between abiotic and biotic components of a forest ecosystem?

Abiotic components (non-living chemicalor physical factor) such as temperature, light, water, and nutrients. Biotic components(living) are all the organisms in the environment.

What term describes all the biotic and biotic components of a given area'?

ecosystem

Organisms within an ecosystem are what factors in that ecosystem?

Factors that influence organisms within an ecosystem include biotic factors (living organisms such as plants and animals), abiotic factors (non-living components such as temperature and water availability), and interactions among organisms (competition, predation, and symbiosis). These factors affect the distribution, abundance, and behavior of organisms within the ecosystem.

Is humidity a biotic?

No, humidity is considered an abiotic factor in an ecosystem. Biotic factors are living components such as plants and animals, while abiotic factors are nonliving components like temperature, soil, and humidity.

An ecosystem is made up of both?

An ecosystem is made up of both biotic (living) and abiotic (non-living) components. Biotic components include plants, animals, and microorganisms, while abiotic components include water, sunlight, soil, temperature, and nutrients. The interactions between the biotic and abiotic components of an ecosystem create a dynamic and interconnected system where organisms rely on each other for survival.

What do biotic and abiotic factors form in a community?

Biotic and abiotic factors together form an ecosystem. Biotic factors are living components, such as plants and animals, while abiotic factors are non-living components, such as water, soil, and sunlight. Together, they interact and affect the balance and diversity of species in a community.
