One of the major subjects that have caught everyone's attention in medical science is the development of artificial replacements. An artificial replacement is a man-made organ, bone, etc. that is implanted in human body to replace its natural counterpart. The pace, at which, scientists are doing experiments with the artificial body parts, somehow it seems like we would be able to create a real human being very soon in the near future.
The best way to get a short report on an artificial body part is to find someone who has one and ask them if they would not mind and interview. Then ask them what it is like everyday to have an artificial body part and what they have to do differently to get through their activities of daily life, like putting on their cloths, bathing, eating, and brushing their teeth. That would make a great report and one many of your classmates would find interesting, not to mention that it will impress your teacher and almost guarantee that you get an A.
