i think that

since DNA is Double Stranded it becomes extremely l stable and thus is not easily effected by changes in PH or Temperature so less likely to be mutated and since DNA is such an vital part of a cell this is safeguarded against local mutagens present within the cell the double stranded DNA does not directly effect copying of or transcription of DNA into RNA I hope this helps :D

Why test for double strand DNA Ab?

Testing for double stranded DNA antibodies is useful in diagnosing systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), a autoimmune disease. Presence of these antibodies in the blood can indicate an increased risk for lupus nephritis or other organ involvement in patients with SLE. Testing for these antibodies can help in monitoring disease activity and guiding treatment decisions.

What kind of proteins protect single stranded DNA?

Single-stranded DNA-binding proteins (SSBs) are specialized proteins that bind and protect single-stranded DNA from degradation and stabilize the DNA structure during processes such as replication, recombination, and repair. SSBs prevent the single-stranded DNA from forming secondary structures and help facilitate the binding of other proteins involved in DNA metabolism.

Why should you prepare for a disaster?

Preparing for disaster can help save lives and mitigate property damage. Taking precautionary measures reduces the risk of being at the wrong place at the wrong time or being stranded with no available resources.

What is the number of cuts in lamda DNA by Pst 1 enzyme?

I hope this will help you: http://www.sfusd.edu/programs/sf_base/protocols/lab_104_lambda.pdf Fun Fact: DNA stands for Deoxyribonucleic acid (But, you probably already knew that).

What holds the DNA helicases apart?

Single-stranded DNA-binding proteins (SSBs) help hold the DNA helicases apart by coating and stabilizing the unwound single-stranded DNA. This prevents reannealing of the separated DNA strands and allows the helicase to continue separating the DNA duplex.

How does a DNA structure help it make a copy?

The double-stranded DNA is itself the information, coded in linear-sequence form, that is READ and REPLICATED into the two resulting duplicated double-strands.

Can the police take you home if you're stranded?

Yes, the police can provide assistance and take you home if you are stranded and in need of help.

What might you hypothesize about the cause of the disease?

they help replicate the DNA

How do single stranded binding proteins contribute to the process of DNA replication?

Single-stranded binding proteins help stabilize and protect the single-stranded DNA during DNA replication by preventing it from forming secondary structures or being degraded. This allows the DNA polymerase enzyme to efficiently copy the DNA strand and ensures accurate replication.

What is the purpose of assuming the help position while stranded in the water?

To be rescued.

Explain fully the role of naoh in the lysis procedure to obtain covalently closed plasmid molecules?

NaOH is used in plasmid extraction procedures to help lyse bacterial cells by denaturing proteins and breaking down cell membranes. This releases the plasmid DNA into the solution. NaOH also helps to denature the double-stranded DNA, converting the plasmid into single-stranded DNA. The addition of NaOH is followed by neutralization with an acidic solution, which helps to renature the plasmid DNA back into its covalently closed, double-stranded form.

Retroviruses such as HIV contains what enzyme that enables DNA to be synthesized from rna?

Retroviruses such as HIV contain the enzyme called reverse transcriptase, which enables the synthesis of DNA from RNA. This DNA integrates into the host cell genome, allowing the virus to replicate and persist in the host.
