There is a general consensus that human activity is having a negative effect on the environment. While litter, air, and water pollution are relatively easy for most people to see, what is not so easy for some people to accept is that the rise of CO2 in the atmosphere, along with other compounds is causing the mean temperature of the Earth to rise. There is debate, but the loudest side of it is on that of Global Warming.
Consider for a moment that Global Warming might not be factual. So what? If we take the steps to stop it, we are still helping the planet and the environment, and not causing further potential harm.
Another Opinion:It might not be, in fact it probably isn't, it's just stupid men like David Attenborough and Al Gore who are in the media and just like scaring people! Don't worry, there is no man-made global warming, it's a natural cycle, it always has been it always will be! Deforestation has stopped, 46% of the world's landmass is unexplored original forest, as a matter of fact, there is a possibility that a small percentage of large creatures as well as a large percentage of small creatures, E.g.: Belived to be extinct, claimed but others have doubted, and new species! The world is fine, safe and sound, don't worry!
