Humira (adalimumab) is a monoclonal antibody that works by binding to tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), a pro-inflammatory cytokine involved in autoimmune diseases. In the body, diffusion refers to the passive movement of molecules from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration. After administration, Humira diffuses through bodily fluids to reach inflamed tissues, where it binds to TNF-α, blocking its activity and reducing inflammation. This localized action helps alleviate symptoms of conditions like rheumatoid Arthritis and Crohn's disease.
Diffusion of AIDS is an example of contagious diffusion, where the disease spreads through direct or indirect contact between individuals.

Facilitated diffusion moves molecules through cell membranes passively.
I hope not! I've been taking Humira injections for over a year and I've just noticed that both sides of my upper back teeth are rotting! Uh-oh - I've been taking Enbrel for about 3 years (was a lab rat patient for its approval) and have the same problem on my lower teeth as this person does using Humira. Mine started on front of incisors (3rd tooth from center) and now the next one back from that. I'm nearly 50 and have read this kind of decay generally starts later in life.
Diffusion is known from immemorial times; laws for diffusion were elaborated by Adolf Eugen Fick.
Humira is my name
