Many groups, such as PETA and the EPA are completely against hunting. Hunting actually helps to keep the natural balance healthy. However, overhunting can have a terrible effect on the ecosystem. It can lead to the extinction of a species. Think about it like this, owls, cats, and foxes eat mice, voles, and frogs. Mice voles and frogs eat grass, wheat and insects. If suddenly, all insects died, frogs couldn't eat them, and would starve and go extinct. If forgs died, there's more food for mice and voles, and their population would go up. Eventually, the higher population wouldn't be supported because there isn't enough food, then mice and voles would die off. Then, owls, cats and foxes would starve to death because the frogs, mice and voles are dead. Eventually, it could work its way up to humans. When populations are too high, hunting is good.

What are the nagetive human impact on biodiversity?

habitat loss and deforestation are important causes of species extinction over hunting has also been a significant cause of extinction of thousand of species Domino effects , pollution, climate change are important causes of loss of biodiversity this is because of humans people are cutting down the trees for making houses so the humans are having a role in loss of biodiversity

Do neutral mutations affect biodiversity?

Neutral mutations do not have a significant impact on biodiversity because they do not affect an organism's ability to survive and reproduce. Biodiversity is mainly influenced by mutations that provide a fitness advantage or disadvantage, leading to changes in the frequency of different traits within a population. Neutral mutations simply accumulate over time without impacting biodiversity directly.

How does habitat destruction affect the humans?

Habitat destruction can have negative impacts on humans by reducing biodiversity, which can lead to the loss of potential sources of food, medicine, and other valuable resources. It can also contribute to environmental degradation, such as soil erosion and climate change, which can affect human health and livelihoods. Additionally, habitat destruction can increase the risk of zoonotic diseases spilling over to humans.

What is the major cause of depletion of biodiversity in India?

The major causes of depletion of biodiversity in India include habitat loss due to deforestation, urbanization, and agriculture expansion; overexploitation of natural resources such as hunting and fishing; pollution from industries and agriculture; and invasive species disrupting native ecosystems.

What happens to plant and animal life when humans make a major change in the environment?

When humans make a major change in the environment, it can disrupt plant and animal life. This disruption can lead to habitat loss, species extinction, changes in biodiversity, and imbalance in ecosystems. It can also affect the natural processes and cycles that sustain life on Earth.

Why is biodiversity decreasing around the world?

due to over population of humans on earth. Natural resources they consume are leaving animal with nothing to live on.

How does the distribution of freshwater resources affect humans?

The distribution of freshwater resources can impact humans by influencing access to clean drinking water, agricultural productivity, and economic development. Unequal distribution can lead to water scarcity in certain regions, causing competition and conflicts over water resources. It also affects ecosystems and biodiversity.

How does turkey hunting affect conservation?

If we did not hunt turkeys they would over populate and eat everything including crops
