Relief means the shape of the land's surface.
It includes things such as aspect, which means the direction in which a slope faces. Aspect can affect local climate in a number of ways.
ASPECT AND TEMPERATURES
In the northern hemishere, south-facing slopes are usually warmer than north-facing slopes. The reason for this is:
1. Sunrays arrive at more direct angles on south-facing slopes. So they are more concentrated ang give more heat.
2. South-facing slopes get longer then periods of daily sunshine, while north-facing slopes are sometimes in the shade.
3. South-facing slopes are sheltered from cold northerly winds.
Relief, or the physical landscape of an area, can influence climate by affecting factors such as temperature, precipitation, and wind patterns. For example, mountains can block weather systems and cause rain shadows, leading to different climate conditions on either side. Coastal areas may experience milder climates due to the moderating effects of the nearby ocean.
Savanna
A relief region is a specific area characterized by distinct topographical features such as hills, valleys, mountains, and plains. These features result from various geological processes and influence the landscape, climate, and ecosystems of the region. Relief regions are often used in geography to study how elevation and landforms affect human activity and environmental conditions.
The five soil factors that geographers study are parent material, relief, climate, organisms, and time. Parent material refers to the rock or sediment from which soil is formed, relief considers the landscape's shape and slope, climate influences temperature and precipitation patterns affecting soil formation, organisms refer to the living organisms that contribute to soil formation, and time is the duration for soils to develop.

Climate is a classification that is chiefly defined by weather.
Latitude lines are imaginary. They have no influence on climate.
