What structure moves a sperm through female reproductive system?

Cilia lining the fallopian tubes help propel sperm through the female reproductive system. The contractions of the smooth muscle in the fallopian tubes also aid in moving sperm towards the egg for fertilization.

What are three main functions of the male reproductive system?

The main functions of the male reproductive system are to produce sperm, deliver sperm to the female reproductive system through ejaculation, and produce hormones such as testosterone that regulate secondary sexual characteristics and reproductive functions.

Parts and functions of male cow reproductive system?

The male cow reproductive system includes the testes, which produce sperm cells, and the epididymis, where sperm cells mature and are stored. The sperm travels through the vas deferens to the accessory glands, which produce seminal fluid. During mating, sperm and seminal fluid are released through the urethra in the penis to fertilize the female cow's egg.

How does human sperm move to find the egg?

Human sperm move through the female reproductive system by swimming using their tail (flagellum). They are guided by chemical signals released by the egg and the female reproductive tract, which help them to navigate towards the egg for fertilization.

How does a water boatman reproduces?

Where an egg is fertilized male reproductive system?

In the male reproductive system, fertilization does not occur. Instead, fertilization typically takes place in the female reproductive system, specifically in the fallopian tubes, where a sperm cell from the male meets and penetrates an egg released by the female's ovaries. The male reproductive system's primary function is to produce and deliver sperm through the penis during ejaculation.

How does the speed of male sperm compare to female sperm in terms of travel within the female reproductive system?

Male sperm typically swim faster than female sperm, allowing them to travel more quickly within the female reproductive system. This can give male sperm a slight advantage in reaching and fertilizing the egg.
