The urinary systems main function is to eliminate waste from the body. With that being said, cells of the body get their energy from burning sugars, fats and proteins. Oxygen is required for many of the reactions. Oxygen comes from the air, into the lungs, from the lungs, into the blood stream, and then into cells (which is how the respiratory system interacts with the urinary system). The cells use this in chemical reactions. When proteins burn they produce cabon dioxide, urea (component of urine), and other chemicals. The urea and some of the other chemicals created are eliminated into the kidneys, which are then eliminated from the body by urine. Other chemicals are sent to the liver for reprocessing, or to go through the small and large intestine to be either digested or eliminated by feces.
I just had to construct a paper on this concept for my anatomy course!
Three body systems that function in excretion are the urinary system, the digestive system, and the integumentary system. The urinary system eliminates waste in the form of urine, the digestive system gets rid of solid waste through feces, and the integumentary system eliminates waste through sweat.
The three organ systems responsible for waste elimination are the digestive system, the urinary system, and the respiratory system. The digestive system eliminates solid waste, the urinary system eliminates liquid waste, and the respiratory system eliminates gaseous waste.
Everything except the urinary and digestive tracts.
The rectum is part of the excretory system. It is the end (along with the anus) of the digestive system.
The urinary system and the digestive system work together to eliminate waste from the human body. The urinary system filters waste from the blood to produce urine, while the digestive system processes food to remove solid waste in the form of feces.
The urinary and digestive systems are not connected in a single lumen. The digestive system ends with the anus.
No, the urinary system is not part of the digestive system. The urinary system is responsible for filtering and removing waste products from the blood, while the digestive system is responsible for breaking down food and absorbing nutrients.
It is a part of the digestive system.
The digestive system works with the Urinary System and the Muscular System
digestive breaks down food and fluid consumption, urinary system eliminates fluids from the body
The urinary system flushes out unusable chemicals that are extracted from the food by the digestive system.
the urinary system
The digestive system and the urinary system interconnect at the kidneys. The kidneys help to flush toxins out of the body and they also make urine.
Urinary, because the urinary system is much like the digestive only that its working with urine and stuff like that.
yes. after its gone through the digestive system, you need to get rid of it!
