Barometric pressure changes can affect body aches due to their impact on joint and tissue expansion and contraction. When the pressure drops, it can lead to swelling in joints, which may trigger pain in individuals with conditions like arthritis. Additionally, changes in pressure can influence fluid balance in the body, contributing to discomfort. These physiological responses to barometric shifts may heighten sensitivity to pain in some individuals.

Toxins can be produced by certain bacteria and viruses to cause illness in humans. These toxins can disrupt normal bodily functions and lead to symptoms of illness.

If you suspect zinc toxicity, it's best to consult a healthcare professional.
Atmospheric pressure plays a major role in how weather operates. Without going into to much detail, low pressure generally brings stormy weather, and most forms of hazardous weather are associated with low pressure in one form or another. Some people report aches and pains acting up as storms approach. Some people think this may be due to the decreasing pressure. High pressure usually brings calm, clear weather. However, it is not without its risks. Drought, heat waves, and cold spells are often associated with high pressure.
Dry and sunny weather can lead to dehydration and increased exposure to UV rays, potentially worsening body aches and pains. This weather can also cause muscles to tighten due to increased heat, leading to discomfort. However, individual responses to weather can vary, so not everyone may experience worsened aches and pains in dry sunny conditions.
I believe this common "old wives tale" is mostly "mental", because if you think about it, when the weather is rainy and gloomy, our mental state mirrors it, making us "feel" the same way, same as when it is sunny, our moods lift and we are happier....there is little or no evidence that weather conditions can affect us "physically".
Th symptoms of swine flu are the same as any other variant. Bodily aches and pains, especially in the back and including the joints, are common.
Absolutely. While those "Professionals" called Doctors swear there is no "scientific evidence" to prove that low pressure affects arthritis, old injuries, migraines, etc., those of us who have these problems know better. I'm pretty much a hermit hibernating in the wintertime because of the lower pressure systems in our area during that time of year.Migraines are another good example - now as the weather has been changing, and low pressure systems are becoming more prevalent, my migraines have increased in intensity as they always do during this time of year. My other problems (from old injuries, surgeries, etc.) are hurting more as well, as is my arthritis.Trust your own heart on this one - you wouldn't have asked if you didn't believe there was a connection, and deep down you know that it does affect you, as the rest of us already know it affects us.TSD -RAVEN- Category Supervisor
