Typically, a vanity light should be mounted about 6-8 inches from the ceiling to provide optimal lighting for tasks like applying makeup or shaving while minimizing shadows on the face. Adjust the height based on your ceiling height and personal preference for lighting angle.
What has to be done is to judge the temperature of the heat emitted by the light bulb. This temperature should be adjusted by the distance from the bulb to the plant. As long as the leaves do not get hot and burn then this should be considered a proper distance. The key is not to damage the leaves.
The same height as the downrod is. Don't buy a low profile or flush mount ceiling fan, because these are specially designed for places where the ceiling is less than eight feet high. I would suggest you buy a traditional ceiling fan or a industrial ceiling fan. Industrial ceiling fans are specially designed for high and big places. By far the hottest of the two light sources is the light bulb.
Smoke detectors should be placed at least one in every bedroom, outside each sleeping area, and on every level of the home, including the basement. They should be placed on the ceiling or high on the wall, away from windows and vents. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for specific placement recommendations.
Most fluorescent lights are linear in shape, but some are u shaped, and others (the compact fluorescents) are bent into various other shapes. Fluorescent lights come in a variety of lengths, a variety of voltage, a variety of light colors (all are more or less white, but the white can be tinged with varying degrees of other colors), a variety of tube diameter, differing quantities of mercury, a variety of brightness, a variety of socket types (some have one pin on each end, some have two, and the compact fluorescents are designed to screw into a socet the same way an incandescent bulb does). All these differences come in various combinations, so that there are literally thousands of different types of fluorescent lights.
30" minimum.
Based on the height of the ceiling the lights can be placed at half the distance. For a ceiling of 14 feet, the lights should be at 7 feet.

Typically, a pendant light should hang around 30-36 inches above the dining room table. This allows for optimal lighting and prevents the light from being too low or too high. Adjust as needed based on the size of your table and the height of your ceiling.

As far as I know, you cannot 'purchase' floor to ceiling bookcases. You have to have them built custom.
you want at least 7 ft from the floor to your fan
Far enough that it does not blind you when you are working at the sink and not so far as to cast a shadow. 12" to the center of the light is perfect.
As far as I have seen, ceiling mounts lay flat beacause its easy to install. anonymous@oola.com
A Hampton bay ceiling fan is better than any other ceiling fan because of the quality you'll get from it. It is far more superior and well sculpted to your benefit.
