Your body is like a car, and food is the fuel it uses. Each food type contains the necessary nutrients the our bodies need. Without food, we would die. Here is a list of things food does:

  • Helps us grow
  • Repairs and creates new cells in the body
  • A source of energy
  • Keeping healthy

But not all food plays a good role in the body. Junk foods, which are high in cholesterol and sugar levels, are not digested and are stored in fat depots around the heart, under the arms and around the abdomen. This could lead to blocked arteries and maybe even death. However, fats are needed in the body but the quantities in which you eat them needs to be watched.
