This question is flawed, irrelevant, and moot. It assumes that humans must give way to other biological species. If we are to remain the dominant species on Earth, then we must retain control over our ability to expand, grow and gather food, and build homes. Thuse other species must give way to humans. Otherwise, some humans must starve, become homeless, jobless, and die in order to preserve some other species. Who wants to be the first to volunteer to give up their life so some other animal, tree, or snail can live?

Does ecology appeal to humans?

Yes, ecology appeals to humans as it is a scientific field that studies the relationships between living organisms and their environment. Understanding ecology helps humans recognize the importance of biodiversity and the interconnectedness of ecosystems, which can guide conservation efforts and sustainable practices. Additionally, ecology can also provide insights into how human activities impact the environment and how we can mitigate negative effects.

What are the concerns of ecology?

Ecology is concerned with the relationships between organisms and their environment, including how ecosystems function and the impact of human activities on natural systems. Key concerns include biodiversity loss, habitat destruction, climate change, pollution, and invasive species disrupting ecosystems. Working to address these concerns is essential for maintaining a healthy and balanced planet.

How do the human beings influence the ecology of a region?

Human beings influence the ecology of a region through activities such as deforestation, urbanization, pollution, and overexploitation of natural resources. These actions can disrupt ecosystems, contribute to climate change, and result in loss of biodiversity, ultimately impacting the overall health and balance of the environment.

Human well being is tied to biodiversity because?

Human well-being is intricately linked to biodiversity as it ensures ecosystem stability, which provides essential services such as clean air, water, and food. Diverse ecosystems support resilience against environmental changes and diseases, enhancing agricultural productivity and medicinal resources. Additionally, biodiversity enriches cultural and recreational experiences, contributing to mental and emotional health. Protecting and preserving biodiversity is thus vital for sustaining human life and quality of life on Earth.

Why is there a need to provide a balanced and healthful ecology?

A balanced and healthful ecology is essential for sustaining life on Earth. It provides ecosystem services like clean air, water, food, and climate regulation. Biodiversity helps maintain resilience against environmental changes and supports human well-being. Disruption to the ecology can lead to imbalances that threaten ecosystem stability and the survival of species, including humans.
