Coke contains "caramel color," which is brown. It doesn't have red dye in it.
recovery type of coke-oven is having recovery of various products such as tar, benzene, sulpher etc as a by product of coke. where as no such by produst is been produced in non recovery coke-oven. recovery batteries been operated under positive pressure where as non recovery batteries work under negative pressure.
takes materials manufactured and process them
The combustion of coke is an exothermic process. During combustion, coke reacts with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide and releases energy in the form of heat. This release of energy indicates that the reaction provides more energy than it consumes, characteristic of exothermic reactions.

Coke is produced from coal through a process called destructive distillation. In this process, coal is heated in the absence of air to drive off volatile components, leaving behind coke. The coke produced is a porous material that is used as a fuel and as a reducing agent in the smelting of iron ore.

Yes, coal is a primary component used to produce coke. Coke is created by heating coal in the absence of air, a process known as carbonization, which removes volatile substances and leaves behind a porous, carbon-rich material. This coke is then used primarily in the steel-making process as a fuel and reducing agent.

Soft coke is manufactured from non coking coal (The sized (+50 mm) is charged in the coke oven through charging holes from a coke oven top. The coal is devolatilized (harmful volatile organic matter is driven out) at a specific temperature for a specific period of time after which it is discharged and quenched on the platform. The soft coke is sent to the stock yard after atmospheric drying. Soft coke is sold to domestic users, restaurants for cooking / domestic heating purpose.
