Radio telescopes, refracting telescopes, and reflecting telescopes all use mirrors or lenses to collect and focus incoming electromagnetic radiation. The main difference is the wavelength of the radiation they are designed to study – radio telescopes focus on radio waves, refracting telescopes focus on visible light, and reflecting telescopes focus on a variety of wavelengths including visible light, ultraviolet, and infrared.
Galileo is credited with the first compound microscope. Zacharias Janssen invented the microscope that we use today.
A simple microscope similar to a magnifying lens.
Most organelles are very small and require a magnification greater than the x1500 available using a light microscope. An electron microscope is required for greater magnification and resolution. Therefore a small area of the slide is avalible.
The earliest evidence of telescopes were refracting telescopes from the Netherlands in 1608. Their development is credited to three individuals: Hans Lippershey and Zacharias Janssen, who were spectacle makers in Middelburg, and Jacob Metius of Alkmaar.Hans Lippershey invented the telescope, sometime before 1608 A.D. (which is the earliest record of him applying for a patent). Jacob Metius applied for a similar patent only a few weeks later.Galileo greatly improved upon these designs the following year, using improved optics. He did not invent the telescope, but he was both the first person to use it and also improve the telescope. It was the astronomical observations recorded by Galileo in 1610 (including the discovery that Jupiter has moons of its own) that is most closely associated with the first use of the telescope.
five types of microscopes are: A compound light microscope, the stereo microscope, the electron microscope,a simple microscope(similar to a magnifying glass, and a compound microscope.

Both refracting and reflecting telescopes are designed to gather and focus light in order to magnify distant objects, such as stars and planets. They utilize optics to form images, with refracting telescopes using lenses and reflecting telescopes using mirrors. Both types can be used for astronomical observations and share similar components, such as eyepieces and mounts. Additionally, they aim to achieve high resolution and clarity in the images they produce.

There are reflective microscopes (similar in design to a telescope), and transmission microscopes where the objective is on the other sample and used for looking at slides. There are phase-contrast microscope, electron microscopes and scanning tunneling microscope.
I guess a telescope.
The first microscope to be developed was the optical microscope. An early microscope was made in 1590 in Middelburg, Netherlands. Two eyeglass makers are variously given credit: Hans Lippershey (who developed an early telescope) and Zacharias Janssen. Van Leeuwenhoek improved a microscope and first described cells seen in cork tissue. He called them cells as they looked like little rooms, similar to ones that monks lived in.
I love you
There are many microscopes. The difference of microscopes is that many of them use different things to view. Some use a beam of light, and some are similar to a telescope. Some can even see atoms.
A dissecting microscope has a lower magnification than a compound microscope. A dissecting microscope has a bigger work area so you can use it to magnify and still move around what ever your looking at. A compound microscope would be used to look at cells that you could not see with out intense magnification You would have to use a microscope slide for whatever you wanted to look at. Example: A dissecting microscope would be used to figure out the sex of Fruit flys. While a compound would be used if wanted to see the cells of a the fly's eye
