DST or Daylight Saving Time dates are set by the US Congress. It has varied over the years, generally from a Sunday in April to a Sunday in October. Since 2007 it has been extended from March to November. Individual states are not required to change. In 2011 Daylight Saving ends on November 6th and will resume in the spring of 2012 on March 11th.
