The Jovian atmosphere consists of 75% Hydrogen, 24% Helium and >1% other elements. It is entirely comprised of gas, there is no solidity to it whatsoever. The surface is just enormous hurricane-like storms of gases swirling infinitely. It would be quite violent and turbulent if a human was capable of experiencing the surface of Jupiter (which they are not). Imagine thousands upon thousands of hurricanes all hundreds and thousands tof times more powerful than the most powerful storms we see on Earth, and that is the landscape of Jupiter 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

(Actually, it would be 10 hours per day and weeks would be about 28(?) times longer... but you get the idea.)
earth has people and Venus doesn't
Earth and Venus are similer because of there size and mass
Galileo discovered, in his observations of the different phases of Venus, that Venus and the Earth were revolving around the Sun. This was contrary to the misconception at the time that everything revolved around the Earth.
Venus' radius = 0.95 of Earth's Venus' mass = 0.815 of Earth's
That is Saturn. For example, if you weigh 100 pounds on Earth, you would weigh 106.4 pounds on Saturn.
There are several differences between Earth and Venus. For one, Earth has water in all three states - gas, liquid, and solid - whereas Venus doesn't. Venus's thick, extensive cloud cover drops sulfur - filled acid rain on the landscape constantly. Lastly, Venus's atmosphere is about 98 times as dense as Earth's and contains much more carbon dioxide.

earth is farther away
Venus' gravity is 0.88 that of Earth.
because they are different planets
Earth turns clockwise yet venus turns counter clockwise
Venus has less mass than Earth does, and therefore has weaker gravity.
The orbits of Mercury and Venus are between the sun and the orbit of Earth. That is different from saying that Mercury and Venus are between the sun and Earth, which is often not true.
The gravity on venus is very similar to that of the Earths, only slightly less. This is because Venus and Earth are roughly the same mass.
Although the atmosphere of Venus is tremendously different than the atmosphere of the Earth, the planet Venus is basically a ball of rock, with a metallic core, much like the Earth.
Venus is slow, One day on venus is about 243 Earth days. As I've written elsewhere the Venus "sidereal day" is 243 Earth days, but there's also the "solar day" of about 117 Earth days. Both types of day are just a few minutes different on Earth.
