It takes about 24 hours and 50 minutes for tides to complete a cycle. The highest tides are 12 hours and 25 minute apart. The low tides will come at 6 hours and 12 minutes, separating the the high tides.
During high tide, you can go swimming, surfing, fishing, or enjoy beach activities near the water's edge. During low tide, you can explore tide pools, go beachcombing for shells, walk along the exposed ocean floor, or engage in activities like kite flying or picnicking on the beach.

It would take 84 years to go from 1926 to 2010.
The best time to snorkel is at or just after either high OR low tide when the TIDAL MOVEMENT IS MILDEST. Though if snorkeling off the shore, at or just after HIGH tide is better, before the outward flow begins. This is just a vague answer because every spot will be different... you should enquire about each one separately.

Well if you were going some where the tide could affect your speed. The tide could affect the time it would take you to get there. The tide could affect the amount of fuel you would burn. The tide could affect the water depth. The tide could affect the clearance you have if you are going to go under a bridge. So check your tide chart. If you go with the tide you save time and fuel.

A tide. A tide can force you back if you go in the opposite way of it, you can swim if you go with the tide.
Both. Full tide and low tide varies everyday. The tide takes 6 housr to come in (full) then it stays in for 1/2 an hour then starts going out. It takes 6 hours to go out (low) then it stays out for 1/2 an hour then starts to come in. This cycle continues day after day after day etc. Because the tide stays in or out for half an hour each time then the full tide and low tide times are changing each day.

It would take about 80 hours of driving time for that round trip to be completed.
It takes ABOUT 6 hours. There are 2 high tides and 2 low tides each day in MOST- but not all places. 6 hours to go from high to low, and 6 hrs back to high.
They used tide. Tide-to-go was not yet invented.
