The closest possible distance between Earth and Venus is about 24 million miles (38 million Km). That would take 300,000 hours or 12,500 days or roughly 34 years.

The furthest possible distance would be when it is on the other side of the Sun to us, it would be approximately 160 million miles (260 million Km). But at that point, when it's on the opposite side of the Solar System, you would obviously have to avoid proximity to the Sun. If you could go straight through the Sun it would only take you 2 million hours, 83 thousand days or approximately 230 years. A route that would avoid burning up in the Sun would be in excess of 300 years.

My suggestion is to get a more powerful booster. Most rocket-ships these days can go a hell of a lot faster than 80 mph!!
