um...the journey from mars to earth.
An airplane, by definition, flies in the air, it does not fly in outer space where there is no air. So an airplane cannot fly from Earth to Mars. That requires a spaceship. With current technology, a spaceship might reach Mars in about a year. It's a long trip.
A year on Mars is equal to 687 Earth days. That is about 2 Earth years.
the question doesn't make sense NEW 8/14/2012 (PurpleMouse): I think the ask-er is trying to say, "how long did it take the spaceship to land on mars?" It took a year for a rover to land, so maybe less for a spaceship.
Mars period of revoultion around the sun, its orbit, is 686.971 Earth days long. Earth takes 365.25 days.
It does no such thing. Mars orbits the sun. The only large object that orbits the Earth is the Moon.

hey buddy why dont u be a man
That depends on how fast the spaceship is traveling, and the change in distance between the two planets (in their respective orbits) as it travels.
spaceship
you would get to mars by buying a spaceship and hiring someone to fly you to mars.
28 years. Spaceship Earth was one of the original rides when Epcot opened on October 1, 1982.
... with a spaceship?? xD or you could fly??

It takes about 6-9 months to reach Mars with current spacecraft technology, depending on the alignment of Earth and Mars. This duration accounts for the distance between the two planets and the orbits they follow around the Sun.
the mars invent is the spaceship that they use for traveling this planets.

The name "Spaceship earth" came about because the earth moves through space and it is holding people just like a spaceship.
