Eventually it should start charging. Now if you charge each battery and the on board charger will not come on you may have destroyed the batteries and they need to be replaced/
It's simply because the battery is not working because you charge it to much and that makes the battery waist more energy than it needs to. Or it can simply be because the charger broke, but more likely you should get your battery checked out before you buy a new charger.
