Humans have 31 pairs of nervesÊcoming from theÊspinal column,Êit is called theÊperipheral nervous system. There are 8 cervical, 12 thoracic , 5 lumbar, 5 sacral, and 1 coccygeal pairs.

There are twelve thoracic vertebrae. So technically you have eleven thoracic nerves. But there are twelve thoracic nerves. The nerve below the 12th thoracic vertebra is considered as thoracic nerve.
In humans, there are 8 pairs of cervical nerves.
8 cervical nerves on the right and 8 cervical nerves on the left. So a total of 16 cervical nerves in the body.
7 pairs but a total of 8

There are two major differences between the dura of the brain and the dura of the cord. The dura of the brain consists of two layers; the periosteal layer is attached directly to the inner surface of the skull and the meningeal layer is deep to the periosteal layer. In places, the two layers are fused together; in other places, dural sinuses lie between the two layers. There is no epidural space associated with the brain
The basic difference between the cranial nerves and the spinal nerves is the role they play, in helping our bodies to function properly. The body has what is called a peripheral nervous system consisting of more than 100 billion nerve cells, which run all throughout our body, making connections with our brain, as well as other parts of the body, and sometimes with each other. The peripheral nervous system is composed of two systems the somatic and autonomic nervous system. These nerves connect with both the brain and the spinal cord. Our muscles are controlled by voluntary and sensory receptors in the skin, this is an example of the somatic system. The autonomic system connects the brain stem and the spinal cord to the internal organs, and also regulates the body processes, like heart rate and blood pressure, stomach acid, and the speed of food travelling through our digestive systems. The autonomic nervous system is divided into sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions. Each has a job to do within the body. The sympathetic division helps us to deal with stressful or emergency situations. They help us to know, when to fight and when to take flight. The parasympathetic division helps the body to function, in normal situations. Both divisions regulate our pulse, breathing and blood pressure to keep them stable. The cranial nerves connect our brain to our eyes, ears, nose, throat and other parts of our head, neck and trunk. There are twelve (12) pairs of cranial nerves. The nerves, which connect the spinal cord to with other parts of the body are called spinal nerves. The brain communicates or connects with other parts of the body through the spinal nerves. We have thirty-one (31) pairs of spinal nerves. Spinal nerves and cranial nerves are connected with the somatic and the autonomic parts of the peripheral nervous system. Some nerves are sensory nerves and other nerves are motor nerves, depending upon their function within the body.

These are 12 pairs of nerves called the cranial nerves.

There are 31 pairs of spinal nerves in the spinal cord. The human peripheral nervous system has 31 pairs of spinal nerves.31there r 31 spinal nerves in a body31There are 31 total spinal nerve pairs8 pairs are cervical nerves12 pairs are thoracic nerves5 pairs are lumbar nerves5 pairs are sacral nervesI know that only adds up to 30. I don't know what the other pair is.31 pairs
Spinal nerves. 7 pairs of cervical, 12 pairs of thoracic, 5 pairs of lumbar, 5 pairs of sacral, and 4 pairs of coccigeal spinal nerves.
31 pairs. And they arise from the combination of the ventral and dorsal roots.
There are 12 pairs of Dorsal nerves also know as thoracic nerves. They emerge from the thoracic vertebrae hence the name.
The 31 pairs of spinal nerves are: 8 cervical 12 thoracic 5 lumbar 5 sacral 1 coccygeal. They are formed by the ventral and dorsal root of the nerve that comes out of the spinal cord.
31 pairs of spinal nerves, separated by vertebrae (exit in intervertebral foramina) of the different sections of the spine: 8 cervical, 12 thoracic, 5 lumbar, 5 sacral, and 1 coccygeal.
Spinal
1 pair because there are 31 pairs of spinal nerves;8 pairs for ceveral,12 pairs for thoracic,5 for lumbar,5 for sacral.so the total is:31one (1) pair
