American Samoa is 6 hours behind New York during Standard Time (Winter) and 7 Hours behind New York during Daylight Saving Time. If it is noon in New York, it is 6am in winter and 5am in summer in American Samoa. The time difference to Samoa (Not American Samoa) is a little harder to calculate since their daylight saving time "falls" forward in September and "Springs" backwards in April. So the time difference is either 6 hours behind when both Samoa and the New York are in Daylight Saving Time. 7 Hours behind when New York is in Daylight Saving and Samoa is Not.
