If something is liquid, it isn't a gas anymore.

To find the volume of a set mass of any gas under standard temperature and pressure, you need to calculate the number of moles present. Taking oxygen as an example it exist as O2 and one mole weighs 32 grams. 5000 tonnes is 5 billion grams ( 1000g to 1kg, 1000kg to 1 tonne), so the number of moles is 5 000 000 000 divided by 32, is 156 250 000 moles. The volume is 156 250 000 times 22.4 litres ( one mole of any gas has a volume of 22.4 litres under standard conditions), which is 3 500 000 000 litres, or 3 500 000 m3.

To calculate the volume of a liquid you need to know the density. Density is measured in kilograms per cubic metre. 5000 tonnes is 5 000 000 kg, so if you divide 5 000 000 by the density it will give you the volume in cubic metres, you then multiply this by 1000 to get litres.
