If US fluid ounces, then about 50.2750 mL using a conversion site. A rough calculation is 51 mL, which I can do in my head - this way:

  1. A teaspoon is approximately 5 mL (from the instructions on most liquid medicines).
  2. There are 3 teaspoons in a tablespoon.
  3. There are 2 tablespoons in a fluid ounce, so that is 6 teaspoons in an ounce.
  4. That gives 30 mL in 1 fluid ounce.
  5. So 30 times 1.7 is the same as 3 x 17 which is 51.
