If you're trying to determine the speed of your car by looking at the RPM, you can't do that without knowing the gear ratio that exists between the engine and the wheels. What you can do is to drive in different gears and see what the speed is for various engine RPMs.
12 mph
At about 1700 RPM's you're going 55.
To convert 50 mph to RPM, you need to know the circumference of the tire. For example, if a tire has a diameter of 24 inches, its circumference is about 75.4 inches. First, convert 50 mph to inches per minute (50 mph = 3,960 inches per minute). Then, divide the speed by the circumference (3,960 inches per minute ÷ 75.4 inches ≈ 52.5 RPM). Thus, 50 mph is approximately 52.5 RPM for a tire with a 24-inch diameter.
How many rpm should the engine turn at 80 Mph 2007 Hyundai tiburon
Answer: 1530 m = 5,019.685 '
depends on the vehicle. On my old motorcycle that is about 80 mph, in my car that would be about 115 or 120 mph
I don't know how many it "should" be turning, but my 2001 Turbo Beetle turns about 3,100-3,200 rpm at 70 mph, assuming of course that it is in fifth gear. I have a 2.0 liter, 2001 VW Beetle and I thought I saw yesterday mine ran at about 3500-4000 rpm
2600 RPM is around 70 MPH. The usual speed limit on most US roadways is 55 MPH or even less. 2600 RPM is actually fast compared to the US speed limits.
About 2300 to 2450 RPM (In that range) At 70 it should be around 2100 RPM.
There are 1000 millimetres in one metre. Therefore, 1530 millimetres is equal to 1530/1000 = 1.53 metres.
You should be around 2200 - 2500 rpms.
My car (a 1995 model of the Escort with the 1.9L) usually revs about 2000-2200 RPM at 55 MPH.
