Milliliters (ml) are a measure of VOLUME. Grams are a measure of WEIGHT. One does not convert into the other.
However, if you now the density of material being measured then the density can be used to convert between its weight and volume equivalent.
As an example, water (at close to 4 degrees Celsius) has a density of 1 gram per millimeter. Therefore 22 grams of water has a volume of about 22 millimeters.
Another example is aluminum with a density of 2.7 grams per milliliter. 22 grams of aluminum has a volume of 22/2.7 or 8.148 milliliters.
