On the surface of the membrane can be found proteins that act as receptors, pores, channels, carriers, enzymes, CAMS and self-markers.

Inside there are the organelles: the endoplasmic reticulum (which can be a rough or a smooth type), ribosomes, the Golgi apparatus, mitochondria, lysosomes, peroxisomes, and centrosome.

The nucleus contains the nucleolus and chromatin ( fibers of DNA and proteins).

Some cells have cilia, flagellum, vesicles, microfilaments and microtubules.
