billions and billions
The Aristotelian cosmos outlines that the planets travel in circular motion that is guided by physical spheres. However, the planets appear to increase and decrease in brightness, indicating that the distance between them and the Earth is changing. The Aristotelian cosmos cannot explain the variation in distance.
If by "wold" you mean world, and if by "world" you mean Earth, Earth is a planet. However, an old word for world is "Cosmos" and Cosmos can mean all of creation. (The confusion is because in the old days, people reckoned that the Earth was pretty much all there was). Well, there are maybe a trillion galaxies in the Cosmos, and each one has maybe 1-100 billion stars, and if our Sun is at all representative, each star could have a few planets, so -- a lot!

The cosmos plant is of the Genus Cosmos with about 20-26 species.
Discovering more planets helps scientists to better understand the diversity of planetary systems in the universe. This can provide valuable insights into the formation and evolution of planets, as well as clues about the potential for extraterrestrial life. Additionally, expanding our knowledge of planets outside our solar system can inform our understanding of Earth's place in the cosmos.

There are at least 2 million galaxies in the COSMOS survey (with billions of stars, planets, and moons in each one; as well as asteroids and nebulae). Their light has taken 13 billion years to reach Earth.
The Fabric of the Cosmos has 569 pages.
As you know, stars are only relevant in its cosmos. The home cosmos, there are hundreds. In the international cosmos, not a lot.
the Greeks referred to the planets as "wanders" the word for that is Planetes
Its just the way the cosmos has developed. Gravity plays a large part too.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for one to travel the cosmos outside of science fiction. Many advances in technology have been made in the past half century, making it possible to travel into space and soon as a space tourist as well, but it will be a long time before one can travel beyond the nearest planets in the Solar System.
