Fibrous root system
Fibrous roots are made up of many thin branching roots that spread out in all directions from the base of a plant. These roots are common in grasses and other herbaceous plants and are effective at absorbing nutrients and water from the soil.
The upper first premolar has Mesial Marginal Developmental Groove in its mesial aspect. It also has long central groove and no supplement groves on its occlusal surface. Also 80% of the upper premolars have 2 roots. However, the upper second premolar has no MMDG and many supplemental groves. Upper second premolar is more rounded and usually has one conical root.

The maxillary teeth are found around the ridge of the mouth.
Normally, upper molars have three roots. I have seen strange ones with four, and again sometimes second or third upper molars may have their roots fused together and appear to only have one or two.
Bicuspid teeth, also known as premolars, typically have two or more points called cusps. Most human bicuspids have two distinct cusps, although some may have additional minor cusps. The first premolar usually has two cusps, while the second premolar can have two or sometimes three, depending on the individual variation.
In the human dentition, each quadrant of the maxillary and mandibular arches contains three molars. Therefore, there are a total of 12 molars in the entire mouth, with 6 in the maxillary arch (3 per quadrant) and 6 in the mandibular arch (3 per quadrant).
Adults have 8 premolars which replace the baby molars. Baby teeth there are no premolars.
