4 significant figures.
Significant figures are basically the amount of digits in a number. E.g. 2.576 has 4 significant figures 32.545 has 5 significant figures Zeroes before the first non-zero digit and after the last non-zero digit are not counted as significant figures. E.g. 0067.4 has 3 significant figures 67.400 has 3 significant figures 0067.400 has 3 significant figures. In case of thermometer measurement of normal temperatures maximum three digits are significant because most of the thermometers indicate one digit after decimal; as 37.4.

The simple rule is: no more significant figures than the least accurate of the values in the computation. For multiplication and division, the result should have as many significant figures as the measured number with the smallest number of significant figures. For addition and subtraction, the result should have as many decimal places as the measured number with the smallest number of decimal places. (Rounding off can be tricky, but that would be another thread)
3 there is 4, 5, and the 0 in between. The two trailing zeros are not measured as significant figures unless there is a decimal point or further significant figures (40505 has 5 sig figs, 40500.0 has 6 4.05x10^3 has 3 etc.)
How many significant figures are in 20.8
There are three significant figures in the number 8.09. The first two digits, 8 and 0, are considered significant because they are non-zero numbers. The third digit, 9, is also significant because it follows a non-zero number and is a measured value.
