According to the Big Bang theory and its newest related data, 13.75 ± 0.11 billion years. The reason we know the universe has a beginning, is because it is dark. Through more complex analysis, we can conclude the universe's past is not infinite.

There are other estimates of the age of the Universe, some of which vary significantly from the one given above. This is the best scientific estimate available to us today. Many estimates are not scientifically based.
