OK the question is a little vague because it gives only 2 dimensions for a 3 dimensional problem. 12 inch bar that is square, does that mean it is a cube 12' on a side? Or could it be a 12' long bar that is some other dimension on its height? doesn't really matter because the values that go in are all the same because lead weighs 6.55 ounces per cubic inch. In the case or the 12' cube. It weighs 12 times as much as a cube measuring 12" on a side. That cube would have 144 cubic inches of volume. 144x6.55=943.2 ounces 58.95 lbs. for a cube 12 times the size that would have 144 times the volume and that would have a weight of 8488.8 lbs or 4.244 tons. 1.92927 metric tonnes.
