The amount of pressure a floor hinge can take will depend on the specific design, materials used, and installation method. It's important to follow the manufacturer's guidelines for weight limits and installation to ensure the hinge can bear the intended load safely. It's recommended to consult with a structural engineer or the manufacturer for specific load capacity information.
the elbow is a hinge joint.. the knee is a hinge joint and it rotates. i m just reaching in my own mind.. so i have not looked anything up to answer this.. i do know the knee has incrediable shock absorbers called menicus in both the top and bottom of the joint.. these little disks of shock absorbing fluid take a lot more pressure than an elbow could provide.. that's my observations of those two joints..
At standard pressure and temperature: approx. o,9 g.
At standard temperature and pressure conditions, 1 kilogram of gaseous hydrogen would occupy a volume of about 11.1 cubic meters.
First, this would be a tragic waste of a gemstone, if that's the one you want to crush. Diamonds are hard, they are not 'strong'. You may be able to shatter a diamond with a hammer.
Yes, absolute pressure is the pressure measured with respect to a vacuum, while static pressure is the pressure exerted by a fluid due to its motion or position. While they are related, they are not the same as static pressure does not take into account the atmospheric pressure.
These things are under more pressure then you would believe. CAREFUL. However, pull the door off....(it usually pulls up). You'll hear the snap, of the hinge hitting. Then take a screwdriver, and unscrew the hinge..... AND I HOPED YOU UNPLUGGED IT!. You should be able to pull the hinge forward, but you might need to take the back of the oven off.....
the door hinge pin i dont think can be replaced.the whole hinge has to be.ive had 3 chevys.a 1983,1985,and now i own a 1996 with the same prob, you should be able to get it in a boneyard or junkyard however you word it.shouldnt be much but they dont like to take part off of doors.or call a dealer.and no you dont and engine hoist to take the take of but mark it well so you can put the hinge back in the proper place

To replace a garage door hinge, first, open the garage door and secure it in place. Then, remove the screws holding the old hinge in place and take out the hinge. Next, place the new hinge in position and secure it with screws. Finally, test the door to ensure it opens and closes smoothly.
