Lichens are able to absorb moisture and nutrients from the air, so they do not require a consistent water supply like most plants. However, they do need some water to remain hydrated and healthy, so periods of rain or high humidity are beneficial for their growth and survival.
That the enzyme must be specific for one constituent of lichen, say a carbohydrate bond, so lichen probably needs many types of enzymes to preform catabolic reactions on it's many constituent parts.
The algae in a lichen provide organic nutrients through photosynthesis. These nutrients are then shared with the fungus, which in turn provides the algae with protection, water, and minerals from the environment. This mutualistic relationship between the two organisms allows them to thrive in a variety of habitats.
As much as the plant needs. The excess water is thrown out.
A lichen is eukaryotic.
To remove lichen from a canvas awning, you can mix a solution of water and mild detergent, scrub the affected areas with a soft brush or cloth, and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or pressure washers as they can damage the canvas material. Repeat the process if necessary until the lichen is completely removed.
Lichen are a good pollution indicator because they get their water and minerals from rainwater and the atmosphere. This makest lichen extremely sensitive to the atmosphere. As a result very few lichen grow in or near large cities with heavy pollution.

Lichen EDIT: Lichen is not so much an example of biological weathering, as a cause. When Lichen grows on rocks it releases chemicals which dissolve the rock. This can be seen in rocks which appear to be covered in flakes of rock.

it needs a bit of water (10ml)
As much as it needs.
A dandelion needs enough water just so it can live. It is best to not give the plant too much water or let it go dry.
It depends on the fish.
Lichen is a symbiotic relationship between a fungus and algae. The algae are the autotrophic component of this partnership. Green algae and cyanobacterium are types of algae commonly found in lichen.
An example of a lichen is the reindeer lichen found in arctic and subarctic regions. This lichen forms a symbiotic relationship between a fungus and an alga, growing on rocks, soil, or tree branches. Reindeer lichen is an important food source for animals like reindeer and caribou.
