Cells die every second in the body. Over a million cells are made every minute in your body. This is how you heal and grow. The cells naturally renew themselves after a certain period of time and are expelled out of the body.

How many pounds of skin cells do you?

Humans shed a significant number of skin cells daily, with estimates suggesting that an individual can lose about 30,000 to 40,000 skin cells every minute. Over a year, this can accumulate to approximately 8 pounds of skin cells. This process is part of natural skin renewal, as old cells die and are replaced by new ones.

What would happen if plant cells had no chlorophyll?

The cells would be unable to photosynthesise, and no glucose would be made. Therefore the plant would not be able to sustain itself and would simply die.

Why do skin cells divide more often than other cells?

1st of all red blood cells don't reproduce. They are not true cells because they dont contain a nucleus thus do not contian the genetic material needed for reproduction thus do not go through the cell cycle. They are just convex shaped carriers of hemoglobin(which in turn carry oxygen). They only live for about 40 days and new ones are made by cells in your bone marrow. Skin cells are real/normal cells. Skin cells divide/replicate more than normal cells because they are exposed to rough conditions( UV light, dehydration, overhydration, scarring and brusing) so many are killed that out body has to make new ones to replace old ones at a fast rate.
