The Pitbull is a breed of dog. Brindle is a COLOR PATTERN that occurs in many different breeds. You'll see Brindle Pitbulls, Great Danes, Boxers, and Bulldogs. There maybe some other breeds I'm forgetting, but these immediately come to mind. Is not rare to see brindle color in pitbulls. As matter of fact is quite common.

hi well i have a staffie that is brindle and my nan has a greyhound which is brindle so i would say most breeds can be brindle but the breeds that are always white obvisly are not going to be bridle hope this helps I have a Brindled Chihuahua, and his mother was Brindled, but his father was white. I agree, I think any breed can be brindled. While American Staffordshire Terriers and Staffordshire Bull Terriers (two different breeds) both carry the gene for brindle coat color, brindle is not a common color pattern and can only occur in a minority of breeds. Those two breeds trace their ancestry to the brindled mastiff family of breeds. Some breeds in the working group, such as Boxers and Great Danes, can be brindle, as can some sighthounds (Irish Wolfhounds, Afghan Hounds, Greyhounds, Whippets). There are more than 300 breed in which the brindle color pattern cannot occur. Hope this helps.
Brown brindle is a coat pattern commonly found in dogs and some other animals, characterized by a mix of brown and darker stripes or flecks. The base color is typically a shade of brown, while the brindle pattern consists of dark brown or black streaks that create a tiger-striped appearance. This pattern can vary in intensity and distribution, making each brindle coat unique. Breeds such as Boxers, Bulldogs, and Mastiffs often display this striking coloration.
Merle is not a color seen in purebred American Pit Bull Terriers or American Staffordshire Terriers. So any "pit bull" of this color is a mixed breed with a merle carrying breed (often Catahoula in the case of pit mixes) having been crossed in. This said, yes a brindle and merle breeding has the potential of producing 50% merle puppies and 50% non-merle. Brindle to merle may also produce a combination pattern of brindled merles.

Some dog breeds that are similar to pitbulls include American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, and American Bulldogs. These breeds are often mistaken for pitbulls due to their physical appearance and characteristics.

Most pitbulls have great health. They do not have to be groomed often and the standard adult pitbull should be fed two to three times daily and watered three to four times.
Reverse brindle boxers can often be more expensive than standard brindle boxers due to their unique coloration, which is less common. Breeders may charge a premium for rare colorations, and demand can influence prices as well. However, the overall cost can also depend on factors like the dog's lineage, health testing, and breeder reputation.
Pitbulls, like any breed, can exhibit a range of temperaments depending on their upbringing, training, and socialization. They are often misunderstood and unfairly labeled as aggressive due to media portrayal and incidents involving poorly trained individuals. Proper socialization, training, and responsible ownership are key factors in a pitbull's behavior. Many pitbulls are friendly, loving, and loyal companions.
Because they are; pitbulls are often vicious and this, combined with their strength and unwillingness to give up, make them prone to attacking people for no reason and causing serious injury. This is evidenced by the fact that almost one-third of all recorded dogbite attacks have been by pitbulls.
(copied from wikipedia) Grulla is a color of horses in the dun family, characterized by tan-gray or mouse-colored hairs on the body, often with shoulder and dorsal stripes and black barring on the lower legs. In this coloration each individual hair is mouse-colored, unlike a roan which is composed of a mixture of dark and light hairs. Probably the only truly rare coat "color" is brindle. The occurance of this coat color pattern is so rare that there is still debate on how it is inherited.
