How was Mount Krakatoa formed?

It was a volcano that had a massive explosion a long time ago. Its explosion was so big, the ocean was grey from ashes for a few days, and in England, the sun looked blue because of the smoke. The volcano On Krakatoa erupted on the 27th of august 1883. It devisteted 300 towns and villages, killed 36,000 people and blew the island apart witch created two giant waves that crashed on to the islands of java and Sumatra and killed some of the 36,000 that died.
