Due to global warming the world will heat up thus causing the polar ice caps to melt increasing sea levels and therefore flood risks. Also due to the heat that gets trapped in the atmosphere there is more evaporation of moisture which latter turns into heavy rainfall.

How does carbon dioxide added cause flooding?

Carbon dioxide itself does not directly cause flooding; however, increased levels of CO2 in the atmosphere contribute to climate change, which can lead to more extreme weather patterns, including heavy rainfall and storms. These intensified weather events can overwhelm drainage systems and lead to flash flooding. Additionally, rising temperatures can result in the melting of glaciers and ice caps, contributing to higher sea levels and coastal flooding. Thus, while CO2 is not a direct cause of flooding, its role in climate change exacerbates conditions that can lead to flooding events.

What consequence of climate change could cause shoreline erosion and coastal flooding?

The melting of the glaciers and ice caps of Greenland, Antarctica and other places.

What can be expected to occur as climate change continues on earth?

the earth's temperature will continue to rise which will increase the amount of sea ice that is melting. This will cause coastal flooding

Does Florida experience flooding?

Yes. Florida has a wet climate and often experiences heavy rainstorms, including hurricanes. These can cause significant flooding.

How can global warming cause flooding?

Global warming can cause flooding because climate change is melting glaciers and ice caps. This is raising sea-levels and low-lying Pacific Island countries and other coastal areas will be in danger of flooding. Climate change is also changing the climate, meaning there may be more severe storms, more often, high tide surges, and more monsoon rains in some places, less in others.

What a cause of natural selection?

The cause of natural selection is a change in the environment of a species. This change can have many causes. E.g. climate change, introduction of a new species, flooding, etc. When such an environmental change occurs, the individuals which are the most fit will have the biggest probability to survive and change the relative gene frequency in a species' genetic pool.

How does a carbon footprint affect flooding?

A larger carbon footprint contributes to climate change, which can lead to more extreme weather events like heavy rainfall and flooding. Higher carbon emissions result in higher global temperatures, increasing the likelihood of intense precipitation that can overwhelm drainage systems and cause flooding.

How does carbon impact our world?

Carbon emissions especially carbon (IV) oxide from industries increase the greenhouse effect. Greenhouse gases cause climate change, and it leads to tsunamis, flooding and drought .

How does climate affects japan?

The climate affects Japan as it would affect any country. Frequent rains may cause flooding and/ or erosion, etc.

What cause wheathering?

Climate change

Could air pollution result in flooding?

Air pollution can actually lead to flooding quite easily. Raindrops form in air particulates. The more particulates in the atmosphere, the more likely it is to rain heavily and perhaps cause flooding.

Can hurricanes cause climate change?

No. It's the other way around. Climate change can affect hurricanes.
