yes it would effect the green algae because if the drought dries up all the water then the green algae would die.... ;) <3
It would affect the insects because they would multiply and would sworm. It would affect the algae because it would not go away it would stay on the surfice and there would be no clean water to swim in.
AP Bio take home test, huh? Taking it as we speak. Answer is B. Cholorphytes (unless your teacher scrambled the answers or mine did then it would be a different letter, but the answer is chlorophytes).
No, green algae would not be found at the top of an energy pyramid. They are producers that form the base of the pyramid, converting sunlight into energy through photosynthesis. Organisms higher up in the pyramid, like herbivores and carnivores, consume the green algae for energy.
grean
algae creates more than 75% of the worlds oxygen; without algae no it would be harder to breathe cause people to pretty much die because of the lack of oxygen
A drought would have little or no effect on them, because they live in the ocean, which droughts cannot affect.
Blue green algae is toxic so I would take care with it.
Algae
in the ocean
cant grow crops
It would mean that there would be less water vapor available to condense into clouds and the drought would continue.
Hot weather and lack of water flow are ideal conditions for algal blooms and the drought conditions in South Australia would have contributed to that.
everywhere!

The drought affects women because they wouldn't be able to feed or look after there children, so they mother would die and so would the child.
Grasshoppers would lose their habitat and source of food. In cases of drought, greenery is destroyed. This would furthur expose the green grasshoppers on the brown land, and making it easier to prey on.
