fixed it was spark plug wires.
The difference in temperature between a warm tube misfire and a warm tube misfire in hot weather is the temperature that resulted in the hot weather .
If your Neon SRT-4 is experiencing a misfire, it is recommended to first check the spark plugs and ignition coils for any signs of damage or wear. Next, inspect the fuel injectors and fuel system for any issues. It's also a good idea to scan the car's computer for any error codes that may point to the source of the misfire.
White smoke and a sudden misfire can be a sign of coolant leaking into the combustion chamber, potentially due to a blown head gasket. This can cause the engine to misfire as the coolant disrupts the fuel combustion process. It is important to address this issue promptly to prevent further damage to the engine.
Defective plugs, bad plug wires, blown head gasket, burnt valve, blown intake manifold gasket, serious vacuum leak, or severely worn piston rings. The computer could be bad as well, I had one that would randomly make the car run like crap(misfire included) a quick tap with a screwdriver would either fix it or make the car stall, replacing the computer corrected the problem (90 cavalier 3.1L)
Make sure the spark plugs have been changed recently. Also other usual tune up items (air filter, fuel filter, etc) can't hurt either. The plug wires are also another item that may need to be changed. If a check engine light is on, have it scanned. There are many reasons a misfire can occur, knowing under what conditions the misfire is occurring would be helpful...
You need to dry out the ignition circuit to no 3.
High idle, misfire, check engine light,High idle, misfire, check engine light,
P0300 = random misfire. Could be as simple as needing a tune up.
P030* basically means a cylinder has a misfire. P0301 is cylinder #1, P0302 is #2, and so on. P0300 means that there are random misfires caused by a vacuum or compression leak, little or no spark, etc.
I hope your barb was a misfire.
Misfire and O2 sensor erratic voltage. It can be many things. Don't throw parts at the problem. Take it to a professional.
It means that more than one cylinder has a misfire history. PO301 would be cylinder number 1 misfire. PO302 would be number 3 cylinder misfire.
