Yes, it is possible to be allergic to mushrooms. Mushroom allergies are usually a reaction to proteins found in the mushroom itself. Symptoms can range from mild to severe and may include hives, itching, gastrointestinal issues, or even anaphylaxis in rare cases.

It is advisable for individuals sensitive to PABA to opt for PABA-free products to avoid allergic reactions.
OSHA classifies chemicals that produce allergic reactions in normal tissues as sensitizers. These chemicals can trigger allergic reactions in individuals who are exposed to them, even at low levels. It is important for employers to identify sensitizers in the workplace and take necessary precautions to protect workers from potential health effects.
An allergic reaction is an exaggerated response of the immune system to a harmless substance. This response can lead to symptoms such as itching, swelling, hives, or even life-threatening anaphylaxis. Identification of the allergen and appropriate management are key in preventing future reactions.
Yes, people [ myself included ] can be allergic to other peoples natural skin oil and skin dander. Itchy burning rash develops on contact. Proved this many times with people who have freshly washed skin, no soap residue and again the allergic reaction occurred with contact. Proof that people can be allergic to other people. It is also possible that one is allergic to something on the other person. For instance, perhaps one person has a pet and the other is allergic to that pet. Or the person uses a perfume, hair product, soap, or something on their body that causes a reaction. Also, fabric softeners or certain laundry detergents can cause allergic reactions. Consider all of that first.
No, not that I know of. But most people are allergic to something, even if they don't know it.

* Roses naturally have thorns and a toxic-wax coating that makes their scratches slightly painful. This is as true for vampires as it is for real people. * Roses are the symbol of true love (at least the red ones are) and the association may have an effect on some vampires by inducing guilt. * Some people (and consequently vampires) are allergic to plant pollen. And even though you're one of the undead your allergies still follow you. A vampire can over-come an allergic condition but it takes time and effort. As you can see the potential of a roses to ward off a vampire isn't all that potent. There are other things that have more power.

Well, like, technically, I don't have his medical records on hand, but, you know, people can be allergic to all sorts of things, like peanuts, pollen, or even bad jokes. So, like, who knows, maybe Bill carries an EpiPen just in case someone tells him a really lame pun.

Actually there is NO "one good answer." If you are allergic to molds and trees then go to the desert. If you are allergic to dogs/ cats - live some place without them. If you are allergic to desert type pollens etc then move away. Unfortunately, even the desert has trees and damp areas. AND, with atopy your body can become allergic to anything given enough time and amount of exposure. So, even if you aren't allergic to trees now, yo can become so after a few years. Do the best you can within reason to find out what you are allergic to and minimize your exposure. Probably more important is tobacco and other smoke. Don't even be around where there is someone who smokes. everything is additive so smoking and cats and mold may not cause your symptoms individually but may send you to the hospital when added to ragweed season etc.
