If the child is type O, both parents need to have the 0 in their bloodtrait. O is a recessive allele, and will be masked by A and B bloodtypes. For examples sake lets say mom has A- and Dad has B- . Make a Punnetts square, a square with four squares inside. On top put Mom as A|O and on the left side put Dad as B|O. Inside the first square under the A and beside the B put AB, the next to the right will be BO, underneath the AB put AO and the last will be OO. So there is a 1 in 4 chance that a certain egg and a certain sperm will meet to create the OO bloodtype. The negative or positive beside a bloodtype don't have a lot to do with the expression of bloodtype but instead refer to the RH factor, which when a mother is negative can cause problems during pregnancy especially if the child is positive for RH.

What is the bood type of the child if both parents are tpe A?

I would say A, now it also depends on RH factor which is positive and negative, but usually a child will have either mothers or fathers type blood but since both are A child had to be A cause it is recessive

What blood type will child have if both parents are o negative?

If both parents are O negative, their child will also be O negative. This is because O negative is a recessive blood type that requires both parents to contribute an O negative allele for the child to have O negative blood type.

Can parents with B negative and AB positive have a child with O negative?

No, parents with B negative and AB positive blood types cannot have a child with O negative blood type. The O blood type is inherited from both parents who must pass on the O allele to the child. Since neither parent in this case carries the O allele, they cannot have a child with O negative blood type.

What is wrong with my baby's blood type?

If a child does not have the same blood type as either the father or the mother there is nothing to worry about. It is fairly common for a child to have a blood type that combines the blood types of the parents, such as an AB negative child whose parents had A negative and B negative blood.

How can two parents with blood type O negative have a child with blood type AB?

It is not possible for two parents with blood type O negative to have a child with blood type AB. In the ABO blood group system, type O is recessive and AB is a combination of A and B, making it impossible for two parents with type O blood to produce a child with type AB blood.

Can a child have a different blood group than both parents?

Yes,the child/children can have different blood Gr than their parents. Parents AA child A or O Parents BB child B or O Parents AB and O child A or B can be possible. No. The child will have the bood type of one of the parents. Also, a mother can carry a child that has a positive rh factor when she herself has a negaive rh factor.

Can mother and father with o blood type have an o negative child?

Yes, it is possible for parents with O blood type to have an O negative child if both parents are carriers of the Rh negative factor. The child inherits one gene from each parent, so there is a chance for the child to be O negative if both parents pass on the Rh negative gene.

Can two parents who have negative blood type have a child with positive blood type?

most probably not.

Can two parents with A positive blood have a child with O negative blood type?
