Although it certainly is possible that the motor or cap are bad, I think it is more likely that the bearings on the shaft are dirty or possibly just need lubrication. As the fan starts, they heat up a bit, expanding them, and the grease becomes thinner, both of which let the fan run faster.

What is the net force of a capacitor?

The net force on a capacitor in a circuit is zero because the electrical forces acting on the capacitor plates are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction, leading to a balanced system. This is due to the fact that the charges on the plates create an electric field that exerts forces that cancel each other out.

What is the furnace in the cell that makes energy?

A central heating boiler is like a cell because it transfers a lot of energy around a model circuit just like a cell does in a real circuit

What is the amps for a 2.5hp 240v cont motor draw.?

Presuming single phase and 1500 rpm. Normal running current would nearly 10 Amps but varies considerably. A real cheap one running at 3000/3600 rpm could exceed 12 amps. At 240 volt, all should be run off 15 Amp line.

Can a 2 hp electric motor run a 3000 watt generator?

Usual configuration, it is an engine that is used to turn a generator not a motor. If you mean it the other way around, will a 3000 watt generator have enough output to operate a 2 HP motor. 1 HP is equal to 746 watts. Keep in mind when a motor start it can take up to 300% of its full load amperage.

What makes the current in a wire increase?

Electricity is a source of energy that is encaved into something that holds electrons (example:alkaline battery) and when electricity is increased, the electrons are a greater amount. Now, electric ciruits can run out, so you can add other multiple batteries ito a circuit to increase its volume. When you add them in paralell they stay the same voltage, but at a strong consistent rate, and when you just connect them in a ciruit, you will get a very high voltage. This is the only way for electricity to increase (for all I know) for it to decrease in batteries, it simply looses all its electrons and have nautrons or protons left. Batteries run out because of the chemical reaction inside the batteries. That's why you cant recharge most of the cheap ones!

How does identify the capacitor capacity for 1.5 kw single phase motor?

If the power factor is 0.7 the reactive power equals the real power, so the capacitor should be 1.5 kVAr. That is a reasonable estimate for a small induction motor.

Is furnace penitentiary a real place?

No, Furnace is not a real place. the government would never allow it to open.

What is shunt capacitor?

Connected in parallel with the system to reduce overcurrent/losses An AC (non-polarized), usually high voltage capacitor that is connected in parallel with an inductive Motor (and very close to the motor, or other inductive load) to help reduce Reactive Power (Magnetizing AMPS) which do no real work but only cause extra heat in the wiring and motor as there is a Lagging Current Phase Angle created by an Inductor and a Leading Current Phase Angle created by a capacitor which helps correct the impedance mismatch between line and load. Google "Reactive Power" and/or "ELI ICE man" for more information.

What is the advantage of the capacitor-start induction-run motor over the resistance-start induction-run motor?

A capacitor-start system will limit the current drawn by an induction machine by correcting the devices poor power factor during the start up. This limits the current needed to start the device without using any real power. A resistance-start system will limit the starting current by drawing current unto the resistor instead of the induction machine. The real power used by the resistor is turned into heat and lost. A capacitive-start system will use no real power and will not create excess heat, it will be more expensive to initially purchase.

Is a AC capacitor can help to reduce wattage consumed?

no, the capacitor is a passive element it doesn't change the real power the energy it consum during charging it gives back when descharging
