i would travel to the planet Jupiter because it's the biggest planet in the solar system and it has a big hole in it and i wonder if there are aliens on there. I think it would be very dry there, and probably it would be like a desert because it is red and orange-ish and has a lot of dust.
I don't think it has a name. Space exploration, maybe. Aerospace Engineering would come close.
I think that means Hubble Space Telescope. It was carried into space by the Space Shuttle in 1990.
No. Sound is distributed by the collision of molecules/atoms transferring energy to each other. Space or vacuum, by definition is completely empty, with no molecules to facilitate this transfer, and hence sound cannot propogate through space. The movie 'Alien' famously had the line 'In space, no one can hear you scream' or something along those linesThis answer is perfectly correct, but to those who do not (the very few) understand this text, this answer is, literally: In space or vaccum, sound does not travel because sound is transferred through cells, molecules/atoms, as you say, and there is nothing there, no cells or atoms or molecules, therefore the sound cannot be passed on. -.- that was absolutely pointless, but I'm currently, very, very bored.Sound does not travel through a vacuum.Sound requires a medium to travel thru. Since there is nothing in a vacuum, there are no particles to transmit the sound.
== == Wow. That is a huge question. It depends on a lot of things. For instance, is it light that is travelling, or a person? If it is a person, you might have to wait 20+ years before someone goes back there. The Space shuttles and space planes that are operating now don't go to the moon. They go into orbit, and sometimes to a space station. By the way, are you going using stairs, an elevator, 9MM or some kinda space shuttle those are all valid points, but take it from a Canadian if your waiting for Canada to send something to the moon don't hold your breath. We really don't have much of a space program. Actually, we do, ever heard of the Canadarm? I can't think of any other space achievements off the top of my head, but Canada is a pioneer in space travel
No
sound waves cannot travel through space
What kinds of sports do you think could be more fun in space? Why?
What kinds of sports do you think could be more fun in space? Why?
Well, it could be anywhere in the world that you could think of
i think they may travel from state to state in the U.S. other wise i dont know
space ships. some people think that wormholes can lead to other galaxies
I don't think they should.
No, for an electromagnetic wave to travel through space, its electric and magnetic fields must vary with time. A static electric and magnetic field does not propagate as a wave and would not carry energy through space.
i think because they want to see the space sights and stuff.also i think that the world..... never mind that so blah blah blah bye-bye-bye!
I think that a snail could travel 1 inc
nothing i don't think
